Oh Kripke, I love you
Sep. 10th, 2009 10:13 pm( Spoilers, duh )
In other news, my Criminal Minds DVDs arrived today. Why do I constantly expect gag reels to be funny instead of full of weird pranks? *sigh*
Okay, I'm taking my headachy, congested self to bed now.

SUPERNATURAL FTW
Sep. 20th, 2008 01:40 pmI need to make an SPN filter, just because I don't get the CW and have to wait until iTunes has it before I read all y'all's squeeful, thinky commentary. So a poll, just because it's easier.
[Poll #1263746]
( Spoilery stuff probably here as well as in comments )

Ramblings about stuff
Oct. 25th, 2007 10:46 amDear Flist,
This is the most boring Thursday I've had in a while. Most of the Accounting department is in training this week. I've done most of the work I have to do. I could make phone calls, but I utterly loathe making phone calls. I'm putting this off.
Things I have done instead of making phone calls:
Things I have not done include said phone calls, working on my Snupin Santa fic, or further revision on the no-longer-for-Pervy-Werewolf fic that I want to post by Halloween.
It's very cold in my cubicle. For that matter it's cold everywhere, whether inside or outside. I am not sure I'm looking forward to the Purdue/Northwestern game on Saturday. My house was also freezing when I got up this morning. I got up 15 minutes late because I really really really really didn't want to get out from under the covers.
Also, I don't remember having "Fight the Good Fight" by Triumph on this playlist, but yey, it's a good song. I really really want to watch "Devil's Trap", but I've been trying to get Dad to watch SPN with me, and we've made it halfway through the second DVD, which I think means he's hooked. I may try to get him to sit and watch it with me tonight, since I can't watch the new episode until tomorrow or probably Saturday, with the way CWTV.com has been posting new episodes later than they did last year. *sigh*
Anyway. I've made it to 11. The mail probably won't show up for another hour, and even then I may not have too much to do. Blah blah blah.
Oh! Watched the HBO Elizabeth last night, the one with Helen Mirren as Bess and Jeremy Irons (rowr) as Leicester and Hugh Dancy as Essex. I must say, I liked it a great deal more than the Cate Blanchett version, because it told the story in a much more accurate way, and the acting was superb. (Cate's acting was also very good, but the directing & editing of that movie was frustrating to me.) Anyway, as always, Jeremy was a delight to watch, and I enjoyed them. Of course, now I have to see if my best friend, who has developed a passionate interest in the royalty of England since her trip there, wants to borrow the DVDs. Maybe I should just send them back and make her rent them herself. *G* I'm ready to move on to other movies in my queue.
Ooh, yay, "Stranglehold!" I always have to play this song's intro about three times, making gun gestures to match the SPN "Story so far" summary. *grin* Obsessive geek? Me?
Naaaaaah.

Things I have done instead of making phone calls:
- Worked on Science of Love and sent it to
severity_softly
- Discovered that one of my Culpae Patria summaries has been reposted on some sort of blog feed or something.
- Realised I really need to do another summary.
- Read
cedarlibrarian's Supernatural ficlet she wrote for me, which inspired me to
- Listen to my SPN playlist on my iPod, lip-synching to Kansas in my cubicle
- Chatted with Israel for a while, because he is a cutie and stops by my cubicle whenever he's in the office
- Reread a CP scene with Remus' parents and realised we need to write more with John and Celeste, because they're fun. Well, honestly, Severus' reactions to them are funny.
- Ate peanut M&Ms.
- Looked in every way I know how to see if the St. Vincent Health invoice has been paid for respiratory tests. (Not mine, for employees here.)

OMG I just found out that iTunes has all of Supernatural Season TWO!!!!! Admittedly, I hate watching TV shows on iTunes because they are jerky and weird, despite being downloaded to the hard drive, but Zeva the iPod handles them just fine. Plus it's a way I can support a show I don't get to actually watch when it broadcasts.
