innerslytherin and severity_softly would like to announce our new joint work, Ever-Fixed Mark.  Because we fell in love with the pairing of Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew while writing these characters in an RPG, but were afraid of flooding the game, we decided to embark on a fic exploring the Marauder's last year at Hogwarts.  What started as a simple way to sustain our ever-growing Lupin/Pettigrew love in between writing game scenes, grew into something much larger than we ever expected.   Ever-Fixed Mark examines the possible consequences of Peter falling in love before leaving school.  Will he make the same choices as he did in canon?  How far will he go to protect the person he loves?  Will he still betray his friends?

I am feeling icky. I've been suspecting my body of slowly giving in to a cold, but today either my kidneys decided to revolt or my stomach did. I haven't thrown up, but I've had a nasty ache in my abdomen. I'm drinking cranberry juice and hoping it goes away. For that matter, it hasn't hurt as bad for the past hour or so.

It snowed here over night, so the morning commute was fun. Only took 28 minutes longer than usual, though, which isn't too bad. I like riding with Dad; he's my morning chauffeur.

Finally, here is a manip that really probably means nothing to anyone but me and severity_softly, but I am pleased with it and want to show it off anyway.

There needs to be more Christmas Snupin art. Like my icon, which is art by almost_clara that was coloured very inexpertly by me. (I do better colouring with pencils than the computer.)

Dad got me a temporary accounting office position at his company. It's actually the second-highest paying job I've ever had, and I would like it if they would hire me permanently. I don't think they will, but I'm employed for the rest of the year, I think. I sure better get a good tax return next year. God knows I didn't make much money this year.

I am incredibly sleepy today.

Remus/Peter is sucking me in. I blame severity_softly for this.

I've had a sore neck since I woke up with it a few mornings ago. I have heat on it right now, but it isn't really getting better. And that Badger Sore Muscle Rub stuff? Smells nice but doesn't do a darn thing.

I want chocolate.

Why is the rum gone?

It's raining.

(The rum is gone because Bigelow's I Love Lemon tea tastes awesome with just a splash of Capt Morgan's Spiced Rum in it. And I like to drink a cup of that when I am going to bed.)

There are some fabulous fics being posted on IJ for Snupin Santa this year, people. And art! I'm so excited.

*grins* I may be crazy...it's too early to tell.  But I thought I'd introduce you all to remus_sotf, the man who is going to be taking up more of my time in future.

I have ink_addict to blame thank for this, though larinzia and empressvesica are accomplices.  And I dragged thesnapelyone into it with me, so y'all know what you can expect eventually.  It'll be interesting.  I'm suddenly playing a bisexual Remus who is currently with Tonks.  I'm definitely taking on new challenges these days.

Also - TONKS IS A HUFFLEPUFF?!  WTF.
