LJBook

Turns your journal into a PDF Book.

LJBook (gads_ljbook)

Hat-tip to [livejournal.com profile] rexluscus for this link, which I found via [livejournal.com profile] schemingreader as I read my flist backwards.  I'm just now getting my file, which is OMG 35MB big, so I don't know yet what it looks like.  LJBook works on Windows and Mac.

LJArchive is a service I've been using since the first salvos of Strikethrough07, and I'm very happy with it so far.  You seem to be able to archive any community of which you are a member, as well.  The files are also searchable.  It only works for Windows, though. [livejournal.com profile] rehalia_cat has a great tutorial with screencaps for LJArchive. ETA: You cannot use LJArchive to repost to other journalling sites.

As always, Semagic allows posting on various sites.  My one complaint is that since I have the same username on LJ and GJ, Semagic gets a bit confused sometimes. ETA2: [livejournal.com profile] snapetoy posted here on how to keep Semagic from getting confused.

From Liz-marcs: If you're looking for migrate to another journaling service LJ-SEC will allow you to move every single entry from LJ to any other site that uses LiveJournal code. Here's my experience using LJ-SEC, including positives and negatives. This is definitely a thumbs-up option, especially if you're moving over to InsaneJournal.

I was very happy with LJ-Sec and I finally got LJ Archive to work.
