I feel incredibly honored and grateful and blessed to have been voted Best Author Overall for the 2009![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
cmfanficawards--especially because I know I was nominated against a bunch of other really talented people. There are others on my friends list who won awards (not that I'm surprised, because I seek out good writers to be friends with) as well as some people whose fic I will have to read in the future. (I confess, while I turned in nominations, I didn't actually vote this year because I ran out of time to finish reading all the fics that were nominated.)
Congratulations to everyone who won, and congratulations to everyone who was nominated, because even getting a nomination means that your fic really meant something to someone. And the awards and titles are awesome, but knowing that I can put words on paper and touch someone in the process is the most amazing thing of all.
