Where did the weekend go?

Friday I didn't do much. Dyed my hair black cherry again, helped Mom learn how to use her new green iPod Nano (which also included teacher her iTunes, which I haven't used in a couple of years, so I had to relearn it). Finished Dragon Age: Origins too. I don't know what it says about me that the ending of the game made me cry. >.> The story's exceptionally good, and forces you to make some hard decisions while playing it. I can't wait to start a new character with a different origin story and play through it again. *G*

Saturday I slept late and started to do stuff, and the power went out. It wasn't out long, but then once I got the computer booted up, it went out again. And stayed out. One of the neighbors called to say they'd lost power too and were reporting it. But it's bizarre, because the weather was sunny and not too windy, with no apparent reason for the power outage.

Power outages are frustrating. You can't do laundry without power, and here we can't cook or wash dishes without electric, because our stove is electric and our well needs electricity to run the pump. *snort* So I twiddled my thumbs a lot.

Today I haven't accomplished much, but I'm listening to my "warm" playlist, which is energizing, and I'm starting to do stuff. Woohoo!
