Last night at supper I managed to spill my supper all over the table, chair, and floor. Cleaned it up, everything was fine...Fast forward to bedtime. I had a large glass of ice water (do you see where this is going?) that I managed to spill...all over my bed. It soaked the blanket, sheets, and mattress cover.
So at almost midnight, I had to sop up as much as possible, drape the blanket on something to dry out, and then go downstairs to set up the hide-a-bed. That thing is narrower than a single bed. It's not easy to change from sleeping alone and sprawly in a queen-size bed to squishing yourself up in something narrower than a single.
Suffice it to say that I didn't sleep at ALL well last night.
