Ground delivery. Ugh.

innerslytherinJust got a confirmation on the shipment of a very important order. It's being sent via DHL.
Ugh. I am so freaking glad DHL is stopping it's US ground shipping next month. Why couldn't they have stopped it THIS month? DHL will, as usual, not be able to find us, they will call the house looking for us, we will have to call back, they will try again to find us, they will call for help, we will have to call back. Finally I will get it, and it will be too late to send it via UPS to the recipient in time for Christmas.
Thank God UPS is so good at what it does that DHL found it too hard to compete with them and FedEx. FedEx I refuse to describe as remotely good at what it does, since FedEx is only MARGINALLY better at finding our house than DHL.
UPS, though, has NEVER ONCE needed to call us to get directions.
