My stupid TV tuner was all wonky, so I missed the first 25 minutes of CM while I fought with it and tried to keep from having to stop the recording. But the recording was frelled all to hell, so I finally switched channels...and realized it was the channel, not the TV tuner.  *headdesk*


Someone please write me a Rossi/Prentiss tag to tonight's episode.  Why didn't Dave and Ashley invite Emily to their video game party, and what did Emily tell Dave about why she was busy that night?

*sigh*  So distressed.  I don't do wine on CM nights anymore, I do rum.  :(

Oh yeah, and if Rossi's "secret" turns out to be that he has a kid?  Just.  No.  That's what fanfic is for.  (They haven't done Rossi's "secret" yet, have they?  Or did I forget it?)

I figured his big secret was the Galen case. But maybe that was for his character development. He's had his secret so no to the kid...very much no.

Well, he's had his secret in this show, but that was season three. Season six was supposedly all about secrets, and that every team member had secrets from the others. So far we have Garcia's lame "secret" that she acts in her free time (lazy writing much?), Reid's "secret" about having migraines, JJ's "secret" that the State Department or whoever was trying (and succeeding) to poach her. Prentiss' secret obviously is Interpol & Ian Doyle. But we haven't seen Morgan's (unless that was Ellie? Maybe?), Hotch's, or Rossi's. :/

And I like Prentiss' line about having the gun aimed at "You and the little ones". She really should have shot him.

Oh, Kate and I were in chat; Doyle said he wants Prentiss' life...so does that mean he wants to become her? Who knew he was a tranny? Yeah, there's a crack fic in the making...

You mean that it's that his sibling has an autistic kid? Or just something relating to a sibling? Logically I would expect a 55-year-old man from an Italian Catholic family to have siblings. My dad only had one living sibling and one stillborn sibling, but y'know, birth control being forbidden and all... ;)

I confess, Prentiss' shooting him would have been awesome. Probably problematic Constitutionally, shooting a foreign-born criminal while they were sitting at a table. She could get out of it, I'm sure, between being former Interpol and having a mother who was an Ambassador, but then again we know Prentiss doesn't like trading on family name or politics. But I can't see her caring about that if she's trying to protect her team.

I think it would have been more in character for her to shoot Doyle. But anticlimactic as far as being "good TV". *G*

No, I actually meant that he had a sibling with autism or something similar. Given his age, it probably would've been misdiagnosed...and the child might've ended up in a home.

And goodness, if Prentiss hasn't learned how to hide a body and hide/destroy the evidence by now....LOL

Hmm. Random thought, I wonder how many people are calling for Seaver's death after her "Sorry I asked" comment to Reid?

DUDE SHE WAS IN VIEW OF THE FREAKING CAPITOL BUILDING. Have a little charity here. Would you expect Hotch to kill and hide a body in that public a place after sitting there for two hours for witnesses to spot him? *G*

OHHHH good point about the sibling. Wow, yes. Okay, I totally dig that one. That would be an awesome secret for him, actually.

If the dude was threatening his team, then yeah, Hotch would shoot him. Of course, Hotch most likely wouldn't try and hide the fact but if he did, he'd manage it. :D

You know what would be even better--what if the sibling is/was Rossi's twin brother? Even fraternal twins--that would make him feel guilty cus he turned out "normal" while his brother didn't. Kind of like survivor's guilt. And it would be an interesting secret for him, twin or not. (Evil twin and eviler twin? LOL)

Another thought on the sibling--maybe the sibling was injured and became mentally or physically impaired and Rossi blames himself for it (whether he should or not). There's a movie with a similar story line, Dominick and Eugene--starred Tom Hulce (Amadeus) and Ray Liotta--wonderful little movie.

I'm with you in hoping that they don't go for the obvious bit of it being Rossi's kid...a niece or a nephew would be better... it being his sibling would make it more interesting, I think.

Oh, hey, I thought of a good reason she didn't just shoot him. (Took me a while to realize it, heh.) He'd just recited what everyone on the team was doing. She would expect him to have people in place to take reprisals not only on her (which would be acceptable to her) but on the team, if she shot him there.
