escape yourself and gravity

I live in Indiana.  Three years isn't enough time to get used to DST after a lifetime without it.  I'm looking for jobs in Arizona so I can laugh at everyone on DST again. :P

There is a distressing lack of Rossi/Prentiss (or Morgan/Prentiss) in the bau_inbox this week.  Come on, I need some good het to read!  Yes, okay, fine, I've lost all slasher cred. *sigh*

This year Lent has been a huge learning experience for me already and it's only just started.  I imagine the euphoria is going to drop off soon.

I need to put some laundry away before I go to bed.  Oh, and pick out my clothes for tomorrow.  Where did this weekend go?  Oh, wait, I had an hour stolen from me. *snarl*

Did I mention I hate DST?  Because I do.

My best friend said the other day that if someone ran for governor of Indiana on the sole platform of eliminating DST again, she would vote for him. Despite that I love my man Mitch and admire everything else he's accomplished in his first term as governor, I concurred. Until today, I was at least getting home from work in the fucking daylight. Now I leave the house when it is dark, and I return when it is dark. I think I might have seen daylight at some point today...oh, right, that was when I went outside on my morning break.

In happier news, my Crime Classification Manual arrived today. Hurray for 25% off coupons and free shipping! I am going to go spend some time with the original David Rossi and some of his friends.

In other news, I used both the pushmower and the post-hole digger today. My arms are going to hurt tomorrow. And Mom and I went to THREE stores before I found steel plastic-coated clothes hangers. I hate plastic ones, they break too easily. But finally after K-Mart and Bed, Bath, and Beyond didn't have them, Target did.

I'm exhausted. Sleeping now. Yey for an extra hour of sleep.
