Dear coworkers,

I don't CARE where the new Wal-Mart is, or if you're going there tonight, or if you're waiting until your husband can help you. I don't CARE what the price of gas is. I don't CARE that you spent two hours in the ice last night because guess what? So did I! I also don't care about all the work that is piled up on your desk because you were out last week. I don't care that the salesmen didn't call you yesterday or that they started calling today. I don't care what intersections you absolutely hate. I have some that I hate, but I am not forcing that information on you, have you noticed?

Basically? I just want to do my job, and your voices are impossible to tune out today. Please SHUT UP.

Very little love at the moment,
Me.

It's really bad when C---- and I are annoyed by the talking on the same day, because we sit and make snarky mean comments back and forth to each other, and one of these days someone may actually wise up and realize the comments are about them. Not to mention I think she and I sort of feed off each other, magnifying our annoyance.

Ugh, annoying people who just won't shut up. I admire how you're able to not tell them to STFU already. I'm not sure I could be that patient.

Edited to add: in fact, just yesterday, I asked two girls if they HAD to talk all the time or if they could stop it now - it was in the middle of class and they had been whispering for over an hour almost nonstop! You can't possibly concentrate on the lecturer with people like that next to you. (One of then had goven me a piece of paper, the other had lent me a pen. See how impatient and unfriendly I am?)

at my bookstore, A and I are the two shelvers, so we always get to the store first thing in the morning. while working, we complain to each other non-stop (it seems like) about how everybody else isn't doing their job correctly. we're sociably commenting back and forth to each other, and not naming names ("they" being the usual culprit). but I've often though if someone listened to us each morning they'd think we are really bitchy. but honestly, as shelvers we see everything! and everyone else they're all slackers. (*g*)

*petpetpet* I always have the most fun on days I get to snark and feed off of other people's snark.

However, I can see where the talking would make you want to beat somebody. Hard. With a wooden spoon. (Do you remember those? Those things HURT!)

Is it over at least? Can you relax with booze and new CM tonight?

I have a friend like that at work. They're possibly the best type to have, I can rant, she can rant and we usually get to a point where we're both so annoyed we make each other laugh... We're very alike and if anyone else comments we just tell them it must be a Sarah thing.

And we do get some of the most annoying customers so sometimes you just need to do that... It's bitch or cry half the time...

Hope you've been able to relax this evening
