Allergies are hell

innerslytherinMISERY. Utter misery.
It is so disgustingly humid outside, and already hot at 8:30, and my allergies are driving me maaaad. In fact my ears have been itching really bad again for the past week, and between that and the congestion and headache, I'm wondering if I've got another sinus infection. I have some antibiotics left over from the last time, and I'd meant to experiment with taking some of them and seeing if it cleared up in a day or two. (Yes, I know you're not supposed to, but oh well. I rarely take antibiotics more than once or maybe twice a year, if that, so I don't think I'm overusing them.)
In other news, the plotbunny that attacked me in the shower is finished in draft, and has been hacked apart by![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
_lore (*sends smooches to my beta*). So it's going to sit in GoogleDocs for the next week, simmering, while I work on finishing Draft Two of Duellist. I have one or maybe two scenes left to write, and then I need to do a read-through and make any general fixes and make sure the fixes I did work. Then it'll go back to _lore and to you, aunty_marion (yes, you're getting the cleaner version!)
In the meantime I have two original stories I want to be working on, because there's a call for submissions to an anthology that interests me (thanks tolarinzia for bringing it to my attention!) and I still have my writing group's September challenge.
