Blackjack Smartphone woes

Anyone out there using a Blackjack? I have installed programs on it in the past using CAB files, and yet for some reason now that I'm trying to install a few more, the phone claims the CAB files aren't there. I can see them on the phone when it's connected to my computer. I can see the files on the phone when I do a search--but I can't OPEN the files, even when I find them via a search. I just added a 1G storage card, so I know it isn't a memory issue. This is driving me crazy, I can't seem to find an answer using Google, and the people at windowsmobile aren't responding to my request for help there.

Man, I've looked up just about everything I can think of. I've found a couple of places where people posted that they had this problem, and yet no one ever answered them, so I don't know how they got it fixed. I'm going to go find a CingularAT&T place to harrass them tomorrow. I don't want to update the phone software because I've read that it can really make phone performance go down... Then again, maybe that is it...
