Boxing Day
Dec. 26th, 2008 10:50 amI can never decide which is worse, working the day before Christmas or
the day after. At least on Christmas Eve there's the knowledge that we
might be let go early. We were able to leave at 3 this year (that's the
earliest we've ever got to leave, because it was my boss in
charge this year instead of the VP of Finance *G*). Today, we just have
to soldier on through all day, and it is feeling like a very long day
indeed.
This morning as we were heading out, there was lightning to the north of
us. A thunderstorm the day after Christmas--not exactly usual, but then
again, it's hard to say anything is usual in Indiana weather.
Monday it was below zero and today it's in the fifties. LOL
