I just happened to be flipping through pictures from my trip to Montana and realized one of the shots was the perfect setting for a story idea I'd been kicking around for a while. (See icon.) I've been playing dwarf characters in World of Warcraft and Dragon Age: Origins for a few years now, and have gained a new appreciation for dwarves. So between the dwarves, having a setting, and having a title, I realized I just had to write this one.
Besides, I have spent the whole year looking for the next great epic fantasy to read, and I'm about ready to give up. So maybe it's time to write the next great epic fantasy, yes? *G*
