OMG coffeecocktails, you mentioned NGOs and that has been an
absolutely AMAZING suggestion for me. I've been looking at Idealist.org
a lot and actually getting excited about a lot of the
opportunities I see posted there!



I'm also excited about some other suggestions people have made, so thank
you so much, flist! You've given me the hope & sanity to make it
through my work hours. :)

If you want to talk to someone about the craziness of working in non-profits I could get you in touch with my sister. They sound all neat, wonderful and idealistic, but they can be crazy town. It all depends on the individual culture.

Thanks, I'll let you know. My best friend spent several years in non-profit and has stayed in touch with that sector, so I hope I'll have hands-on guidance from her. But I'm sure the more help, the better. :)
