Random shit about this weekend

In no particular order.

I tried cooked radishes for the first time yesterday. They were delicious. I usually just eat them raw, but we have a LOT of them, so we thought we'd try something new.

Unfortunately I have a ridiculous gag reflex, and when I took my pills last night, I had trouble, and ended up throwing up. Including the radishes, so I'm not feeling very radish friendly at the moment. And in the meantime I lost my Effexor, but I wasn't sure I'd lost it. So tonight I'm going through withdrawal, because Effexor has a ridiculous halflife. So I feel horrible and like I'm going to throw up more.

C comes back to work tomorrow after a week off. Thank God.

Played a bit of Warcraft this afternoon. Had fun.

Mom is applying for a job, and I also spent some time fighting with my computer and hers, trying to solve file compatability issues so I could use my laser printer instead of their ink-jet to print her resume and such.

That's really just about it. Sunday nights always make me stupidly depressed. Someday I will have a job I love to get up for. Like...writing. >.>

Can I ask how you cooked them? Soft all the way through?

Ugh, horrible. :( I hate how meds (and missing them) can make things worse.

Trim leaves and roots from radishes, slice them. Melt a tablespoon of butter in a skillet, then add the radishes and onion slices if you want. Then cook for about three minutes. Add half a cup of chicken stock and simmer with the lid on until tender. (About 3 or 4 minutes.) Then take the lid off and let the juices evaporate. My mother says this is called reducing. Whatever. :P
