Remus smiled wryly at her. “I assure you I’m in no danger from Severus Snape.”
“I thought perhaps you were in danger of liking him,” she confessed. When she looked up again, her eyes were dancing with a hint of mirth.
“I think that’s one danger from which I am completely safe,” Remus said, his lips quirking. “Snape wouldn’t let me like him, even if I wanted to.”
