Oh, girl, I have an entire BOOKCASE full of books I haven't read. Seriously. And yet I keep buying new ones. I should make a list of ten non-fiction books I own that I'm going to read this year. Hmm, or maybe I'll be realistic and say five...

Thanks! I got the idea from this icon by cedarlibrarian, but I chose the Dewey number for the potions text myself, based on where old remedy books were, I think.

I loved it. I stayed up far later than I should have because I couldn't stop reading. ^_^ And now I must go make an Alanna icon, because Alanna is one of my earliest (s)heroes in reading. Not to mention some of the first longish fantasy books I read without my parents. *g* (Most of the classic fantasy books my dad read out loud to me.)

read. I loved it. It's not really convincingly a journal (well, maybe it is. but 12 p. journal entries were never my thing :-) )

You know, I really need an Alanna icon. I loved it, too. I enjoyed the first person narration, but yeah, like you, journal formats never really are convincing for me. I mean, Bridget Jones' Diary was a fun read, but who keeps a journal with sixteen entries per day? Just the opposite of Beka's two or three LONG entries, but still. Then again, I have decided that this year I will once and for all get through Sarah Morgan's Civil War diary, and after I have done that, I'll tell you how long her actual journal entries are. ^_^
