Um yeah, above comment was me. My other browaser wasn't showing the videos, but don't worry about it. It's a mozilla like browser that just doesn't have a lot of plugins installed, and I don't stay logged in here on IE.

I resisted the lure of Teh Evil Sims2 until someone on my flist at the time (don't remember who) posted their Harry Potter Sims pictures. And at that point I was lost, hopelessly. I went out that day and plunked down the $40 or whatever for it. And have never recovered. ^____^

LOL - no, the Sims just always talk in gibberish. I was annoyed when I first discovered this, and then quickly grew to be amused by it. (Especially when my dad's cell phone started dying and his phone calls started sounding like Sims.)

I LOVE The Sims 2!

In the first video, I see that Remus apparates directly upward -- how did you do this? Is it a hack, or something new?

I haven't been able to install the entire HarryPotterProject because some of it requires University which I don't have.

It's a Hogwarts career that I downloaded - I believe they used the Super Hero career options for carpooling.

And I'm not running University, either - unfortunately I couldn't ever get it to work on my computer. It makes me sad when I see some of the cool things people make for University!

I woke up very early this morning (bah), so I have been downloading mods, yey.

LOL I love mods. And I love how easy it is to use mods in Sims, compared to other games.

I must find food and stuff. Mmm.

I never could figure out how to do the mods and stuff :( I think I might just pull out my sims 2 cds again. It's been a very long time since I played and my new laptop is supposed to be good for gaming and what not.

Ooh - modthesims2.com makes it very easy now - if you download their Q-Xpress installer, you can just add things to your queue to download, and then once you tell it what folder to download to (which should be My Documents/EA Games/Ths Sims2/Downloads for everything except custom neighbourhoods) it'll unpack and install things for you automatically. I've also found good mods at thesimsresource.com and the official website thesims2.com

There's a whole Harry Potter Project, which someone left me a link to - if you look at my Draco/Pansy Sims post, it's in the comments there. ^_^
