In other news, I did some cleaning inside and some mowing and weeding outside today. Had to fight off the mosquitos big time. I'm just hoping I didn't get in the poison ivy while I was weeding. There's a little patch of it growing under the hammock, and I'm gonna have to go out there with some Round-up later.
Mom and Dad have been trying to wrangle the blackberry patch into submission. They both look like they lost the war today. I'm lucky; since I'm afraid of spiders and have grown to rather dislike blackberries, I've been spared that part of the work.severity_softly, I'll have more jelly for you in a few weeks! Though it'll be last year's jelly. This year, we're not sure we'll have enough for jelly, just because they're being ruthless in their hack-and-slash campaign.
It's impossible to start a U-Pick blackberry business if U can't Pick because you're not double-jointed or two feet tall.
