No, really, FUCK YOU, CBS.

This episode of Criminal Minds rocked, but only because of the actors and writers.  No thanks to the assholes who are in charge at CBS.

Still feeling weepy.

So pissed and weepy!

FU CBS!

Yup, sounds like that's what they did. I hope those other women find something better.

It is crap. :(

I didn't watch -- haven't been watching this season, since I'm SO MAD about the decisions made in terms of casting -- but I have heard spoilers for this ep. UGH. SO. SAD. SO SAD AND ANNOYING AND AWFUL. :(

[identity profile] xtinethepirate.livejournal.com 2010-09-30 02:50 am (UTC)(link)
Oh really? I'm glad to hear that, at least. I'd only heard ~vague~ things, and from those it seemed to compound the issue rather than give CBS the finger. Good to hear that the latter was what was true. :( JJ!! *is sad*

I couldn't agree more. At least they let AJ Cook shine on her way out the door.

I loved tonight's episode. I was in tears at the end, when AJ was getting in the elevator. At least the writers gave her a kick ass send off and left the door open for her. I wanted to cuddle Reid and Garcia. Poor Hotch! He's not replacing her because he's hoping to get her back!

So much love for them and a HUGE fuck you to CBS.

Fuck you, CBS indeed.

That ending broke my heart. Garcia just weeping...*sobs* I'm glad they gave AJ/JJ the last 10 minutes. She totally deserved it and completely rocked it.

The only happy part was the writers and actors getting their digs in. CBS deserved 'em.

Great job killing a show, TPTB.

Fuck you, CBS. Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you!!!!!

But wow, the Crim Minds writers, cast, and crew did an awesome job with this. And there were definite not so veiled references to CBS and their asine decision making. I was actually quite proud of CM for addressing it so head on.

But still... fuck you CBS!

Oh god, my heart still breaks over TG's performance where Hotch gives JJ a handshake and runs off before he absolutely loses it. And everyone's emotions were so raw here. All the performances were excellent. Garcia can make me cry any day, and Reid looked so lost. Oh, and a nice turn around with Morgan from last week, where he admits JJ is essential. Because, damn, it's one thing for the family to bicker internally, but another entirely for outsiders to come along and not appreciate how important each family member actually is.

Fuck you, CBS. Or did I say that already?

I just LOVED the fact that the writing was SO pointed ... that the characters just mirrored what all the actors were totally thinking and feeling. "They can't just send you away" was my favorite line, I think. I commented the same thing on Joe Mantegna's FB page.

Now it seems like a lot of people are worried that they're going to kick Paget to the curb by killing Emily off. If they did that, they'd lose A LOT of viewers, so I'm hoping TPTB at Mother-Frakkin-CBS realize what they're doing to their loyal fans.

[identity profile] hellokitty138.livejournal.com 2010-09-30 04:58 pm (UTC)(link)
That's what I loved, too. And I think that's why I cried, when I normally wouldn't. The perception that the actors were expressing their true feelings about AJ Cook and what happened to her through their characters.

It was an excellent episode as far as the acting and writing....it was wonderful to see the deliberate and pointed lines throughout that showed how the cast and the writers REALLY felt about the situation.

Many "not my choice", "I thought I could do something", "They can't just take you" and "It's done" lines that meant ALOT to those that have watched the situation unfold.

While, like you, I am still pissed at CBS, the episode itself was brilliant.

I'm right there with ya!

I'm torn, because I liked the episode, but I didn't like that we (they) lost JJ/AJ. I bawled at the end. I enjoyed the case, but in the back of my mind, I KNEW that JJ was leaving at the end. I liked and disliked the episode. It was a great f*** you to CBS.

I second that FU. Wholeheartedly.
