What is, would be correct. *G* It's a 400-mile NASCAR race run in Indy every summer. I think it's technically the Allstate 400 now, but I refuse to use sponsorship names. I called the Hoosier Dome that until they tore it down.

Don't forget about the Pocono Raceway. *G* I think there's a race there next week. I hear far more about NASCAR than I care to.

Yeah, you know what's funny is that I've been to the Brickyard 400 and had a blast. (A friend offered me free tickets, I wouldn't pay to see a race.) But when the women at work get all worked up about it and are talking about it at the tops of their lungs while I'm trying to work? VERY unhappy person.

NASCAR's like a freakin' religion in NC. I'm actually related to a former driver and babysat for yet another unrelated driver. I think I'm desensitized from liking it very much.

LOL That could be. I used to be a Dale Jarrett fan, mostly because my "uncle" who took me to the race once was a DJ fan. (He was my uncle's best friend, and I saw him more often than my uncle, for several years.)

OMG THE CARS GO AROUND AND AROUND AND AROUND IN A CIRCLE AND EVERY NOW AND THEN ONE OF THEM CRASHES AND FUCKS UP LIKE FIVE OTHER CARS, AND SOMETIMES THERE ARE FLAMES BUT MOSTLY THE CARS JUST GO AROUND AND AROUND AND AROUND

I can tolerate it, but seeing it on TV is one of the most mindnumbing things ever.

Also, I'm more of a muscle car girl, so nyah to all those other cars.
