So the other day I was in a crappy mood and basically demanded that people write me fics. I gave prompts and suggested pairings, and OMG what results I got!

kyrdwyn wrote me Rossi/Reid.

darkhawkhealer wrote me Emily and implied Morgan/Reid.

mcgarrygirl78 wrote me Morgan/Prentiss.

shinealightonme wrote me Morgan/Prentiss. (Is it funny or Freudian that I just typed "Prentits" first? >.>)

faithharkness wrote me Hotch/Reid and more Hotch/Reid.

coffeecocktails wrote me Rossi/Reid.

ubervirgin wrote me Morgan/Reid and Reid/Rossi and Reid plus ABBY SCIUTO AND JETHRO GIBBS from NCIS.

Is it wrong that my first thought at seeing this post was, "Ah, so that's how Abby's last name is spelled"?

It was, however, followed quickly by "Aw shucks".

Did you see Almost Famous? Its in the scene where the kid is running after Penny Lane and she ODs on quaaludes....that's the first time I ever heard it and that's insane since I've been a HUGE Elton John fan since I was in diapers.

And your f-list does rock because those stories were great.

You know, I've seen that and loved it, but I didn't register the music, oddly.

I've also been an Elton John fan since I was a kid. My dad had "Crocodile Rock" on 45, and we used to have these nights when the three of us would sit on the floor of the living room playing board games, and Dad would deejay for us with his huge collection of 45s. (Our record player had a little thing that would hold the records up and then drop each 45 in its turn.)

OMG, you are totally taking me back. It was my dad with his vast collection of records, I remember staring at the Led Zeppelin album with the Hindenburg on the front....fascinated is the only word I can use to describe. To this day I still love vinyl, and we still have most of his vinyl here.

LOL Elton John and the Moody Blues are as rocky as Dad gets. What's funny is that he was much more into the Carpenters and the Jackson Five and such...I'm the one who got into the real 70s rock... So whenever I play Led Zeppelin, he gets all silly and says things like, "Who is this? Is this The Who? Is this U2?" *snerk*

I am a big big Carpenters fan, but Led Zeppelin too. My dad exposed me to everything, and then my mom added all the cheese like Barry Manilow. I love a little bit of everything because growing up was like a new musical experience everyday. But rock is my first love, from my dad, he and his bandmates would jam in our house and it was awesome.
