Ah, the joys of power outages

innerslytherinEven though the weather has been gorgeous all day and there's been no wind, we had a random power outage for several hours today. Which wouldn't have been a problem except that I was planning to finish betaing a fic today and getting edits made to the original novel today, and maybe ordering some photos online to be printed. Not to mention the fact that the toilet only flushes once in a power outage. Yippee.
But I did get a lot of cleaning done, and I did some strength training with my little hand weights, sealed the seams on the tent, and walked a mile with Mom.
This following a five-mile hike yesterday at Shades. But I figured since I was sore as all get-out from the hike, I might as well build on that and start getting in shape again. Go me.
Am in a crappy mood tonight though, so I imagine I'll be signing off early.
