Love the icon.

In my mind, Morgan is trying to balance his attraction with his desire to protect Reid--which includes protecting Reid from himself, if necessary--so he's going to make darn sure of what he's doing before he makes a move.

Absolutely. That's one of the things I love best about Morgan, the need to protect everyone, but particularly those close to him. There is no way he'd do anything unless he was sure that Reid could deal with it. Which isn't to say that he wouldn't push him, but he'd push him in a way that he could handle.

Sometimes I almost think I love the UST and stumbling towards more than the actual getting what they want.

That can be so so true. I go between wanting full out no holds barred porn to fading to black. It depends on the tone of the story and the mood I'm in.

I'm fascinated by the fact that, as far as I can tell, Morgan is the only one that Reid lets touch him all he wants. The part at the start of The Popular Kids where Reid's getting coffee and Morgan just turns him around to talk to him may be one of my favorite bits. Well, that and Morgan calling him pretty boy.

All of that was a long winded way to say that I really really can't wait to read more of what you write.
