I'm definitely taking a US-centric view, mostly because I don't know enough about the capabilities of the other governments that would get involved. And regarding the word "safe" - well, no, nothing involving the military is ever safe! *G* But I still think it's important to look to the protection of our troops whenever possible, and that's what I meant. ;)
