Tea for Two

"You prefer it with two lumps, don't you?" Remus watched his guest shift in his chair.

"Thank you." He took a sip. "I had no idea you paid such close attention."

Remus poured himself a cup of tea, black, and breathed in the steam, enjoying the feel of it on his face. "Oh, yes, I always paid attention." He smiled shyly. "I have chocolate biscuits, as well."

"My favourite." The man's voice was neutral. Nevertheless, long, thin fingers reached out to select a biscuit. "I feel as though I'm being courted."

Remus smiled. "I'm glad you finally figured that out."
