innerslytherinMy headache is back, along with the sore throat. I've decided it's this place. December is the month with the most intense workload for contract compliance, because that's when we have the most contracts coming in. Yesterday we were at a backlog of around 440; today we're over 500 again. Of course, it doesn't help that we're writing so many credits. Yesterday I entered 22 pricing contracts, and today I'm writing credits for 14 of those contracts, where we overcharged the customer for that time period.
I passed my 1-year anniversary here a week ago. It's amazing how long a year can seem sometimes.

severity_softly and I finish the novel, it's going to be a runaway bestseller and they'll make a movie staring Michael Ealy and, hrm, Jakob Dylan, I guess. *G* And then I won't have to stress out quite so much about this job, because we'll be hard at work on the sequels.
