Happy birthday to _lore!!!

I want to take a minute to tell you guys about my friend lore. When I first met her, I was intimidated by her, because she runs the

lupin_snape community, and she does a great job of it. And to me, moderators of comms, especially those who are also BNF to me, are intimidating. But lore is a beautiful soul--encouraging, generous, kind-hearted, and sweet. She's also very capable of snarky remarks, not to mention she writes darn good Snupin, and that adds the perfect blend of spice to her sweetness. (*giggles and resists the urge to liken lore to pumpkin pie...though she would probably appreciate said comparison on several levels...*)

_lore is also the best beta-reader a girl could ask for. She catches undertones, sees places where more development is needed, isn't afraid to tell me if something sucks (but is nice enough not to say flat out that it sucks), and also fangirls people to just the right degree that even her criticism is coated in chocolate (chocolate helps with everything).

I could go on, but I'm sure she's writhing in an agony of shyness already and hating the fact that I've just spent an entire LJ entry waxing rhapsodic about her. That's okay, because I firmly believe she needs to know how much she is loved. ^__^
