You have a really tough job, and having been through it once with my grandmother, I'm scared to go through it with my dad when he gets older (even though I probably will, considering his genetics).

My best friend, who only knows what I've told her about Gedna, said the episode didn't bother her at all. So you're right, I do think that people that haven't dealt with dementia will take the episode at face value. But based on the comments I've gotten to this post, you're right about the fact that the number of us who have seen it first-hand is growing. :(
