The funny thing is, the doctors went back and forth on whether she actually had Alzheimer's or if it was non-Alzheimer's dementia. We got both diagnoses on various occasions. She did take Aricept, which helped her for a while. But it's really discouraging and sad and scary to see any memory failings happen in seniors. :(
