I never wanted to have children, and never really expected or wanted to be married

This is me. At least, I have nothing against being married, but I'm not looking for it, you know? So it really means a lot that you could still identify with Emily in this. Or maybe that's why - maybe my bias is showing. ;) Sometimes I think writing Emily so much has changed me in a way...
