Sweetly beautiful and beautifully sweet. What's wonderful about good fic (and this is really good fic) in this fandom is that the characters aren't just pretty. They're complex, smart, often too smart and too courageous for their own good. They live in a place that's not like the life I live. If I'm in or even witness an accident or a fight, it always feel surreal, as if I've gone into a different dimension just outside of normal-space. These people live there all the time. I think for them, the mundane is the surreal. And when they dance, time slows and the sound of heartbeats is very loud.
