*G* That fangirl cracked me the hell up. Seriously. There's so much meta in this show I wouldn't even know where to begin.

But I just have to say this:

Mark Pellegrino is a damn fine actor, but he's not pretty enough to be Lucifer

WTF, casting department?

But I liked it.




In other news, my Criminal Minds DVDs arrived today. Why do I constantly expect gag reels to be funny instead of full of weird pranks? *sigh*

Okay, I'm taking my headachy, congested self to bed now.

^ THAT. I was just thinking he's PRETTY, but not pretty enough. Like, where's my Stuart Townsend Lucifer, eh? EH??? (my personal pref would be Christian Bale -- see icon -- but I'm trying to have some realistic goals, haha)

Well, I don't even think he's pretty. I think ruggedly handsome is the best he can hope for.

Christian Bale...I don't know. I keep getting caught up in his gravelly Batman voice... But yes, he probably could do it too.

Ah, I was sort of doing pretty as "attractive", not distinguishing it from handsome. But I agree with you on that -- I like the more androgynous, PRETTY portrayals of Lucifer that you see in art, and he doesn't fit the bill.

But oooh my lord, Stuart Townsend would have been FAAAABULOUS. He can rock the longer hair look, too, which could have been hot.

If CBale didn't do that gravelly voice, but the tone more of Equilibrium or even A Midsummer Night's Dream, I think he has the intensity that could have made an awesome Lucifer.

IDK, new guy will just have to impress. ;)

Oh, yeah, I use pretty in two ways about men. One is just my generic, "Oh, he is pretty" that applies to everyone from Joe M to Thomas G to the Gube to Jensen to whoever.

The other is the sort of word that would apply to the Gube but to no one else on that list, except Dark-Angel-era!Jensen (who seriously had prettier lips in that show than I have ever had).

And it's the second that I wanted for Lucifer. I wanted the androgynous, SCARILY BEAUTIFUL look.

*cough* Sort of what I had been hoping for in the Elves, rather than Cate Blanchett and Liv Freaking BabyFat Tyler. *cough* But don't get me started on the Tolkien soapbox. *G*
